Broken Widnows Theory:
Consider a building with a few broken windows. If the windows are not repaired, the tendency is for vandals to break a few more windows. Eventually, they may even break into the building, and if it's unoccupied, perhaps become squatters or light fires inside.
Or consider a sidewalk. Some litter accumulates. Soon, more litter accumulates. Eventually, people even start leaving bags of trash from take-out restaurants there or breaking into cars.

자신의 단점을 그대로 두면 나중에는 걷잡을 수 없을 만큼 커진다는 것과 내 단점이 어떤 것인지 익히 알고 있음에도 불구하고 연구를 임하는 사람으로서 깨진 창문으로서 정말 수치스러운 것들 아직까지 제대로 갈아 주지 못하고 있음이 안타깝다.
